Scott brings compassion and commitment to his lectures based on his extensive experience as a physical therapist and a home modification specialist. Scott is also an instructor for the CAPS certification course through the National Association of Home Builders and is identified as a preferred speaker for the National Kitchen and Bath Association.

The CHER® (Comprehensive Home Evaluation Report) - Through many years of practical experience and hundreds of clients, Scott recognized the need for a state-of-the-art reporting tool to reflect the necessary recommendations in a customized, comprehensive and professional report. All parties involved in the project can then utilize the customized CHER® report to complete the project. We will tackle your project whether it is small or large - and we will meet your accessibility needs whether they are simple or complex. Think of our services as the foundation for your project.
Consultation & Coordination - SHD stands ready to assist you through the entire process of your project. We will meet with all of the members of your team and ensure that your project is on track.
Home Evaluation - SHD will perform an on-site visit to the home. Once there, we will thoroughly examine every aspect of the home. We have a lengthy list of items we are sure to check. A home evaluation involves discussing with you all aspects of your situation - and when we've finished, we will prepare a complete report of our findings and recommendations.
Review of Prints / Plans - SHD will carefully and completely review your blueprints and/or floor plans to determine whether your accessibility needs are being met. We will discuss with you what you want out of your project. SHD will provide you with a written report containing our recommendations.
Resource Materials - SHD has spent countless hours compiling resource materials. You can access this vast amount of knowledge and SHD will tailor the information to fit the needs of your individual project.
Assistance With Purchasing - if you need a specific specialty item for your project, SHD will help determine what product will best meet your needs, and then let you know where to purchase that product.
