- Review of Prints / Plans - SHD will carefully and completely review your blueprints and/or floor plans to determine whether your accessibility needs are being met. We will discuss with you what you want out of your project. SHD will provide you with a written report containing our recommendations.
- Home Evaluation - SHD will perform an on-site visit to the home. Once there, we will thoroughly examine every aspect of the home. We have a lengthy list of items we are sure to check. A home evaluation involves discussing with you all aspects of your situation - and when we've finished, we will prepare a complete report of our findings and recommendations.
- Resource Materials - SHD has spent countless hours compiling resource materials. You can access this vast amount of knowledge and SHD will tailor the information to fit the needs of your individual project.
- Consultation & Coordination - SHD stands ready to assist you through the entire process of your project. We will meet with all of the members of your team and ensure that your project is on track.
- Assistance With Purchasing - if you need a specific specialty item for your project, SHD will help determine what product will best meet your needs, and then let you know where to purchase that product.
- Educational Speaking and Presentations - SHD offers individualized programs for organizations and groups wishing to have a better understanding of universal and accessible home design. We will tailor our programs to meet your needs. SHD’s goal is to create state-of-the-art presentations for all its clients.
